Septilin can be used in the treatment of infections of the respiratory tract (both lower and upper), skin, soft tissue, urinary tract, upset stomach, Diabetes, High Cholesterol, Arthritis, Hepatitis, Lymphoma, Peptic ulcer etc. It is also prescribed to patients who suffer from common cold and sore throat frequently.
Respiratory Tract Infection: Any infectious disease of the upper or lower respiratory tract is termed as RTI or Respiratory Tract Infection. Infectious diseases in the upper respiratory tract include the common cold, laryngitis, pharyngitis/tonsillitis, acute rhinitis and acute rhino sinusitis. And, that of lower respiratory tract comprises of acute otitis media, bronchitis, bronchiolitis, pneumonia and tracheitis.
Urinary Tract Infection: Septilin is used as supporting medicine in the treatment of infections in the urinary tract. Burning while urinating, cloudy urine, and painful urination are a few symptoms of urinary tract infection.
Postoperative Condition: After an operation, the body becomes weak and thus requires post-operative care. Septilin is used in postoperative condition to heal the body at a faster pace.
Antibiotic Resistance: Antibiotic Resistance is a condition where the patient does not respond to the antibiotic therapy and that no improvement is shown in his/her medical condition.
